Nathan had recently got his booth set up and was in his current default human form. After all he was all set to win the costume contest and he didn't want to tip his hand.
However business at his booth was pretty slow so he decided to pop arcross the aisle really quick. After all if any customers showed up he could pop back easily enough. "Hey Kino, do you have my "prescription"?" He asked quietly, hoping he'd be able to get his hands on the potion that reduced his susceptibility to iron.

Brianna wandered the convention, enjoying the variety of the costumes. She started to approach the Alchemy Booth, curious about what it could actually sell.
While the catboy running the both seemed to be busy with other customers, she knelt down to look at the display labels...

"Not at all." Ivershka said to the wolf man.
The dragon man turned towards Kino. "I am Ivershka." He said, with the r's rolled and with a sharp click of the k at the end. It wasn't his true name, but as far as they were concerned, it was. The dragon man's name came from phonemes chopped and smashed together and rearranged to prevent identifying his native planet. "I'm here because I wanted to see what kind of products would sell here. I've heard all sorts of... things."
He would've sneered that last word out were he not in the presence of other monstrous men. Instead, his tongue caressed that word like it was a delicate hand to drink down. "About this event. Judging by our conversation, everything is what it says on the tin. That means the books should get some publicity once I set up my own stand. Aside from that,"
He stood up.
"It'd be terribly discourteous if I set up shop without giving others their due attention. As proud as I am of myself, it'd bring the task force bad publicity if I didn't act in your best interests."
He reached into his left pocket and nudged Tyrone with his elbow. Iversha poked Tyrone with a small slip of paper. "While I don't fully trust you," He whispered as low as he could. "You sound like a decent person. Let's keep in touch, all right?"
"That being said," Ivershka said. "The bar's the next stop on my schedule. I've been tasting some really good stuff from all the way here. I just hope it's stuff I can eat before the main event."

And just like that, his booth had become quite popular. Lots of people were showing up to view the goods here. Though he hadn't expected one of his prior customers to show up so soon. He didn't know much about Nathan, all he knew was that he needed potions to keep himself from being so susceptible to iron. He held up a finger and reached beneath the counter, before pulling out a vial with silver liquid inside of it. "Here you go!" He says happily, handing it to him before turning to Tyrone and Ivershka. He felt the dragon was speaking nonsense.
"Don't worry about the task force & my relations with them. We've never really seen, eye to eye." He says simply. He felt a need to be rather cautious around this dragon, especially if he was connected to people higher up. He waved the wolf over though when he started speaking. "Sure, come on over. Here to have a look at my wares purrhaps?" He asked curiously. Once the wolf comes closer, he leans in towards the wolf, eyeing Brianna to make sure his voice was quiet enough. "Gotta ask though, what are you. Have to make sure I don't give you something that reacts badly if you buy anything." He whispers, before hold a finger up to the trio before him.
"Why hello missy, what can I do for you?" He calls over to Brianna, that sly cat like grin on his face as he beckons her to come over and join what was starting to become a crowd among his booth.

"Well, what kind of potions are you selling?" Brianna responded with an easygoing smile, before continuing in a stage-whisper, "I wasn't expecting a salesman to be this into the theme."

Nathan took the potion and handed his money over to the neko. "Thanks. I can see you're quite busy. I might pop back over for gossip after business slows down. After all Maybe something in my booth might catch the eye of one of these fine folks.
He grinned and headed back across the aisle and ducked behind his own counter.

The wolf smiles and takes his place, eying the cat's merchandice. "I'll be sure to check your booth when it's ready, Ivershka. He said as he moved his face closer to the cat. He lowed his voice, making sure the girl a few meters away wouldn't be able to hear him. "Pretty much what my mask implies. I am a wolf." His voice returns to normal volume as he moves a few inches back. "Hello everyone. Orestis is my name. Happy to meet you all." Turning to face the girl that was standing not far from him, the wolf smirked under his mask. "Oh hey there. WHat would a cute human like you be doing amongst monsters like ourselves?" He said in a playfull tone.

"Oh just exploring, taking in the atmosphere,"Brianna responded. "Really though, a world with only one kind of person would be boring."

Tyrone looked with confusion at the paper suddenly handed to him, blinking at it and turning it over this way and that. Didn't trust him? Well he never asked the dragon to do so and he could say the same, this dragon fella actually made him a bit uncomfortable with his talk of forces and such. He was just a junkyard mechanic for crying out loud, he didn't want anything to do with magical special forces with potions that destroy a person's soul. He put the paper in his pocket for now, since it was given to him in secret he didn't want to make a big deal of reading it. Instead he just smiled at the dragon with a silent shrug, before watching him head off to the bar.
His eyes lit up some when he saw the young girl come into the stand, at first he thought she was a kid, but soon realized she was a little bigger then that. Still he guessed she had to be pretty young. Which made him feel bad to see that wolf approaching her, the full realization of what may happen to most of these girls hit him and it tugged hard on his heartstrings. But there wasn't much he could do he knew, unless the numbers fell differently. He forgot to look at his exact number himself. He glanced back to the cat who ran the shop, smiling a little before stepping back just a little to give the newcomers some room since he wasn't buying anything. He listened though with his gaze on the girl still, but stayed back as he didn't have the manners to horn his way in between the wolf and her. What she said made him smile some, curious though if she meant that the world would be boring with just one kind of person.

Kino chuckled at the wolf's loud and boisterous manner. "Well, there's a theme for the convention. I'm just filling the role of being a 'mystical' salesman." He says with a chuckle, sliding the small shot glasses filled with blue liquid towards the woman and the wolf. "Here, have a sample of my wares." He says with that cat like grin. Granted, the liquid was the same drink he had served Ivershka so it wasn't a real potion or anything, but it would burn and settle itself on the way down since it had some rum mixed into it.
"My wares are the finest around though! I've got everything from things that'll change your hair color to creams that'll make your skin smooth, to trinkets to give you luck above all else." He said with a grin, "And if you want a secret, the trinkets aren't made of snake oil." He whispers quietly, though not quietly enough to sound like he was trying to hide anything.
He eyed Tyrone as he watched all three of them, having lost track of the dragon for now. He noticed how he was watching the girl, and Tyrone was definitely staring at the girl. 'You can't save them all.' He mouthed to Tyrone the next time he glanced his way, shaking his head and shrugging a bit. Maybe he can save one or two of the girls if that really was what he wanted, but Kino knew from experience that they all couldn't be saved. And honestly, sometimes one had to let their inner monster loose. Even if it meant someone became collateral.

"So what are they made of then?" Brianna picked up the offered sample, looked at the liquid through the bottom of the glass, then decided that caution was the best option and put it back down.

"A world like that would be boring, huh?" The wolf repeated in a questioning tone. "Seeems kinda right. That's why we're all here after all." He said smirking. The girl had no idea how interesting this world really was, but she would learn soon enough.
He then turned to the owner of the booth, who seemed to be and smelled liek a cat. "Mystical, salesman? Hehe, I guess this place will be fun after all. I'm sure you'll have some amazing stuff to show us during the main event." He said, unable to wink, as his eyes weren't visible

It didn't take too long for Tyrone to look back and see the neko's words. How did he know he wondered.... did he make it that obvious? He allowed himself to blush a tiny bit out of embarrassment for being spotted so easily by the shop owner. "I know.... " He mouthed back softly though with a tired smile. He tore his gaze away from the girl and wold now, distracting himself by curiously looking at the various trinkets that, those that worked, he probably couldn't afford. But they were still nice to look at at least.

Kino grinned, "Careful pup." He says simply. There's a lot of teasing about the main event and with the girl next to the booth he can't help but feel like she might catch on to something if she's one of the more intelligent con goers here. "Don't want to spoil the fun." He grins, before chuckling at the girl's caution. He takes one of the sample drinks and drinks it.
"See? Harmless. Just a little bit of gin and juice mixed together, along with some food dye to make it blue." He says with a warm smile to her. "Most of the things here are just for show. Extra juice or alcohol mixed together to make something that's got rather interesting tastes and such. A lot of people treat these as souviners from the festivities here." He says with a chuckle, watching Tyrone gaze over the amulets. "Though, I've been told that many of these amulets do have some sort of good luck charms on them. I've got someone back at my shop who prizes themselves on making good luck charms. You never know when you'd need one." He nods softly. Doesn't help that he has to split anything earned from the trinkets with said person.
"Seeing anything you like?" He asked the three, that Cheshire grin adorning his face while his tail swished behind him this way and that~

"Trying to feed a 19 year old alcohol? I could get you arrested for that," Brianna responded, half joking. There were a few little things about his attitude - first his tone during introductions, second the offer of gin - that were rubbing her the wrong way.
"But I think I'll take a look at the good luck charms before I leave," she said, her curiosity getting the better of her. They did look interesting, and had no chance of being dangerous.
