Nathan gave another sheepish grin and chuckled lightly. "Not a fan of most creepy crawlies I take it, then, huh? I'll be sure to keep my photography away from you then, heheh," he said. He was a little bit nervous for the Big Reveal now, but he hoped that he managed to endear himself to her enough for her to be able to look past the buggishness. Or... well, the rest of his otherwise scary appearance too, for that matter. He wished he could speak up about the mermaids thing, but telling someone you just met who doesn't know about the existence of monsters that some merfolk can walk around on land is... well, it's probably not a good idea.
Nathan leaned forward to look at the drawing once she held it up for him. "Oh, wow!! Lilly, this is really good," he exclaimed with obvious admiration in his eyes. He leaned back with a grin on his face, about to say more and even respond to her question until the announcement for the main event sounded throughout the convention center. Nathan's expression changed and he cleared his throat, once more hiding his mouth by pressing his knuckles to his lips as he watched Lilly carefully, an almost anxious worry in his eyes. Already, some of the monsters were eagerly shedding their costumes all around, and confused and even alarmed murmurs resounded from nearby women.
"So, uh," he finally croaked out nervously. "You said you uh... like kind-hearted monsters, right?"

Indeed Nathan was right on that, it wouldn't be a very good idea at all. For all she knew monsters were just something people liked making up for entertainment, nothing more. Of course she knew some monsters have a large history behind them, mainly like with the Greeks. "Heh, no, not the ones that might bite anyway. Yes please keep your bug pictures over there!" She giggled afterwords and smiled, showing she didn't mean the picture part so harshly. She liked the girly bugs like butterflies and ladybugs of course, but sadly Nathan couldn't be one of those.... Of course she had no idea that everytime she spoke about not liking bugs, she was sayiny in a way that she didn't like him. If she knew otherwise she'd probably be much more soft on voicing her opinions on creepy crawlies.
Lilly gasped with excitement when the announcement was made, quickly tucking the sketch in her sketchbook for safe keeping along with her pencils in their bag. She didn't even notice the monsters at firsy until she heard the women's confused sounds. She paused and frowned, looking behind her as she saw monsters shedding their costumes, some just flat out attacking their prey. This of course made her gasp, standing up and scurrying her way towards Nathan without looking at his nervous look on his face. Of course the idea that he was a monster never crossed her mind.... Until he spoke that is. Her little heart was already racing and now she felt truly nervous, making her slowly look to Nathan with wide, but not yet judging eyes. The human was doing her best to give him the benefit of the doubt. "I-I did say that.... A-and it's true.... W-what is this Nathan? What a-are we supposed to do?" She asked him, doing her best to keep her cool but it was hard as she heard more and more unnatural sounds around them.

Nathan's own heart was pounding in his chest, especially once Lilly grew more alarmed. He stood as she did, offering her safe refuge near him. Already he seemed to stand over her protectively, even moving an arm as if he were trying to wrap it around her, though really he was just hovering it behind her back protectively, unsure if touching her was a good idea at the moment. He glances away from her briefly to check their surroundings, making sure no other monsters had their eyes on precious little Lilly before looking back down at her with the same wide-eyed concern. "Well... I understand if this is a hard thing for you to do, but I'm going to need you to trust me for one," he started, keeping his voice as level as possible.
He took a deep breath before moving on to explain, "every monster in attendance was told to take a slip with a number on it, and to wait until the main event, where they could hunt down a lady with a matching number and eat her. Any lady without a number was free game." He paused and seemed to be shaking a bit, incredibly nervous as he continued. "... As you may remember, our numbers match. And as I said before, I wouldn't ever want to hurt you. And I understand if you're not... okay with it, but... if you let me eat you, I promise you will come back out in one piece, in the same shape as you were when you entered. I could keep you safe from the others this way." He braced himself for her response, unsure of what to expect.

She could tell by watching his movements he seemed nervous, but not aggressive, he wasn't attacking her like the others were doing, which was really the only reason she still believed he was as kind as he was before the announcement. Infact from how he hovered his hand behind her and looked around once standing, he seemed protective of her. That bond they formed was starting to pay off in a way that it kept her from running away and instead stayed and listened to what he had to say. Trust him he asks? She hesitated for just a second, before nodding, not tearing her gaze away from his face now as she didn't wish to dare look at what was happening to the other girls who were less fortunate enough to have a gentle partner.
Lilly then listened as he explained what the whole main event was about, why their numbers matched and finally, what he wished to do with her. At least she understood why he made sure her number was in view. The girl could see the tall man before her shaking, he was nervous too, not for his life, but for his heart and from her reaction. A heartless monster couldn't fake that, not in her knowledge anyway. "Y-you.... You wish t-to eat me.... W-whole then? " The idea of being.... Of being in his stomach was one that shook her to her core. And that's just what she hoped he meant, whole and not in pieces, but he did say in one piece, in the same condition as she went in she'll come back out. Suddenly she heard a scream not too terribly far away from a attacking monster, which had her leaning back against his hand and arm instinctively, looking in the direction of the terrible sound. "Okay.... " She breathed out almost too quietly, perhaps it was too quiet over the sounds of the attacks. "Okay Nathan.... I trust you, j-j-just.... be gentle, p-please? " The small human replied to him, her tone desperate and pleading for excape from this nightmare, knowing full and well he could take her from it.

Nathan nodded, almost wordlessly as he forgot to speak for a moment. "Alright. I promise I'll be gentle. Just... try not to scream, okay?" Without really giving her a chance to respond to that, Nathan shed his human skin, a long massive form crawling out from where his human body once stood as thought it were emerging from a dimensional portal, taking up the entire seating area's space as he doubled over himself and formed a protective wall almost around her with his long, coiling body, though he was not actually coiling her. Just using his body as a barrier from the other monsters, though it seemed as though none really took much interest, aside from maybe a few who were startled by the sudden change and lack of space in that particular section of the convention. There wasn't a single hint of his human form left, as if it just vanished once his tail end finally emerged. His head peeked in over the coils of his body, reluctant and shy almost, before peering down at Lilly.
"I... I'm sorry that I couldn't be something with less legs, miss Lilly," he said- or, rather, thought out loud. His voice still as soft as it was when he was human, the only difference now was that it now resonated and echoed within Lilly's head. His mouth did not move as he communicated, as he lacked lips to properly form words anyhow, and instead now relied on a passive form of telepathy. His massive body shifted as he made more room for his head and moved it closer to the ground, though still a reasonable distance from Lilly so she could approach at her own pace. "If you still trust me, shall I... take you in myself, or would you prefer to climb in on your own?" he asked, wanting to give her a choice in an attempt to help her feel at least a little bit in control of her situation.

If only she understood better why he asked her not to scream before it happened. Gasping in shock and a bit of horror she watched as the man she once knew shed like a skin away from a horrible creature that crawled out instead. He was huge, as if he wasn't towering over her before he was doing so ten times more now. Lilly put both hands over her mouth to keep herself from screaming, breathing quickly and now shaking like a leaf. Oh god the legs, his legs, there was so many, he-he was a, what, centipede? If she recalled correctly? But no parts of him didn't look right, he was something with no name, not a name known to her anyway. The tiny human watched helplessly as his body made a circle around her to keep her away from the other dangers, thankfully able to tell the difference between coiling around her like a snake and making a protective circle.
Then she suddenly saw his face, something that did not resemble what he looked like before. It looked almost like a horned skull with a mouth. But.... But no that wasn't true, the body language, the shyness and reluctant look to come out fully, that was Nathan, that was the Nathan she knew. He was still here.... Tears formed in her eyes but she smiled, giving a weak laugh to herself and lowering her hands. She was still scared, but she recognized him, he wasn't a unidentified monster, he was the new friend she met and trusted. Then he spoke to her, in her head, not normally, but she understood it to be from him. "I-its not your f-fault Nathan.... don't b-be sorry." She replied softly to him, trying to treat him normally. She was sure he didn't pick to be this way, it just happened to be. The biggest thing that scared her about bugs like him was the fact she was afraid they'd bite, that feeling wasn't so strong. But then he asked, if she still trusted him, how she preferred they.... Proceeded. With a deep breath she tried to will herself to step forward, but she couldn't, unable to just yet shake the image of his twitching big bug legs that surrounded her. "G-go ahead.... " She gave him permission, knowing in no amount of decent time could she will herself to walk into his jaws.

He watched her carefully, and though the skull-like face appeared to show almost no emotion, the glowing orbs within his dark eyeholes still managed to show concern as he waited patiently for her response. He could tell she was terrified, and he really couldn't blame her. Really, she was taking this better than his last partner, at least. He gave her a silent nod before moving closer and opening his jaws, pausing to hesitate as his open maw now hovered directly above her. He hadn't done this in years, but still, he lowered his mouth over her with such practiced care, not a single tooth bumped or scraped against her.
Already, his inner warmth began to wash over her as his upper and lower jaw now surrounded her, carefully closing around her as his long slick tongue moved to wrap around her lower body and legs, so as to avoid catching her with his teeth. "You may uhm.. want to leave your bag outside... I'll carry it with me and keep it safe until I can bring us somewhere else, so don't worry, but I fear your sketchbook may get ruined if you take it in with you..." Before he closed his mouth any more, he paused to allow her a chance to do so. As if on cue to demonstrate a point, his mouth began to salivate around her as well, strands of thick saliva running down the walls of his maw and beginning to pool on the floor around her feet. Only once she let her bag down (unless it turned out to be waterproof) did he proceed, pulling her further into his mouth with his tongue and raising his head back up to close his jaws around her properly before unwrapping his tongue from her legs. It was cramped, and though some light managed to filter in between his sharp teeth, it was still dark and already quite warm and humid... and wet. But soft, though very slick, and there was still enough room inside his mouth for her to readjust herself if she didn't want to stare the dark entrance to his throat in the face. The commotion outside was already muffled a bit, though it was still present alongside the sound of Nathan's breathing. At least his breath didn't smell bad, in fact that's exactly why he skipped out on breakfast that morning. And nearly drowned himself with the amount of mouthwash he practically chugged as well... whoops. At least his efforts hopefully paid off, he wanted this to be as pleasant as possible for whoever he ended up with.
"When you're ready, I'll send you down," he informed her, his tone shy again. "And uhm... I'm sorry for all the... drool..." He definitely seemed ashamed and embarrassed of that.

Those green orbs that were meant to be eyes at first frightened her almost as much as his many legs did. But after some time of seeing them she saw how they held emotions and not harsh ones, but ones that reflected his voice, words and body language. Watching those frightening, dangerous jaws open wide and then lower over her was hard to keep still for, but the sounds that were not made by Nathen encouraged her that this was better, somehow. She wasn't sure how, but in her heart she felt it was so she stayed frozen still.
She felt his black, slimy tongue wrap around her legs to protect her from his teeth, especially if heaven forbid she squirmed any too soon. The teeth around her were encouraging enough not to though. He knew what he was doing she reminded herself, he'll take care of her. But Lilly made a surprised sound to his warning about her bag, no it certainly wasn't waterproof. With a squeak as she heard and saw more saliva pooling by her feet, she did her best to toss it as far away from her and his jaws as she could without scraping her arm against his teeth. She had left the sketchbook on the table though thankfully so it was safe far as she knew. "T-thank you... " She said sweetly to him, taking a deep breath as she tried not to focus on her surroundings too much. He didn't have to worry and care for her so much, he was a giant human eating... Well, she wasn't sure what to call him that wasn't insulting, but either way she felt so tiny compared to him, it was amazing he could fret over something so small. Lilly briefly recalled their brief talk about him being a gentle giant... Once tbe bag was safe she felt him pull her in deeper then close his jaws and level his head. She didn't realize it but she was shaking a little again, but took the chance he gave her to carefully flip her body around, mainly not wanting to go down his throat upside down.
His efforts did show at least, she could smell the faint minty smell of mouthwash and it made her giggle a little again. Of course he'd do that.... so thoughtful she mused to herself. It was quite slimy, but it wasn't extremely uncomfortable besides the teeth. "It's okay, really, I-I know you p-probably can't help it. " She assured him, very hesitantly running her small hand against the roof of his mouth. "I.... I am as ready as I can be.... " She wondered what his stomach would be like, obviously not like most bugs of course. But would it be fleshy like his tongue? She had to admit between her fear she was curious.

A tiny shudder made its way up Nathan's body as he felt her tiny gentle hand run across his palate, nearly melting into a puddle on the spot. He hadn't expected her to get touchy, especially in her current situation, and it nearly made his heart skip a beat. Was she... trying to reassure him? Even now? He tried his best to stifle a whimper, as such a tiny gesture meant so much to him already. Really, he probably should have made some comment on how sweet she was, especially given that she was now resting on his tongue, but he was far too weak in his many buggy knees to think like a suave flirt at the moment. "A-alright, down you go then..." He hesitated at first, but then he tilted his head back, slow and gently at first. The last remaining light's that Lilly would see- for now at least- grow dimmer and further away as she slid feet-first toward his awaiting throat, and then with a brief but gentle gulp, it was completely extinguished as she was sent on her way. Not wanting to risk harming her, Nathan allowed gravity to do most of the work as he felt her tiny frame gradually make its way down his tight wet throat.
It was warm, incredibly so, and his surrounding body heat only seemed to grow more and more warm as she traveled further down until it became just plain old hot- though not unbearably so. The saliva that he had swallowed down with her made Lilly's descent smooth the whole way down, though fairly noisy as the slick flesh squelched all around her until with a final squeeze, she was pushed out into a hot and humid chamber. Already, the soft jelly-like folds of Nathan's stomach welcomed her with a snug wet hug as the soft walls gently undulated and gurgled around her. It was definitely snug, and maybe a little bit cramped, but if she were to move about, it would become apparent that there was plenty of room for her to at least get comfortable, and though his stomach lining insisted on giving her entire body a massage, it was not smothering, and there was no sign of any digestive juices. The only liquids here appeared to be the saliva that had followed her down, of which most had stayed within his throat it seems. The air, though hot and humid, was surprisingly breathable as well. Along with the gentle gurgles, groans, and trickles of his stomach ambiance was the faint and muffled sound of his breathing and heartbeat. Hardly any sound from outside his body made it inside, it seems, not even the screams of some of the less fortunate women, and she could hear and feel Nathan heave a heavy sigh of relief.
"There... now no one can hurt you," he assured Lilly softly before changing back to his human form on the outside. This changed nothing from within, but outside, despite Lilly's small form, a small bulge in his stomach tugged lightly at the buttons on his vest as he moved about to gather her things for her. "Make yourself comfortable but ah... do be careful. I'm extremely sensitive in there," he explained. He wouldn't admit it just yet, but he was just as helpless to her now as she was to him, believe it or not. Especially without the air of his venom, which he of course refused to use on her. "I'll take you somewhere safe now, so hang in there." And away he went, carefully making his way past the other convention patrons, some frenzied, others enjoying the activities a lot more than he had expected them to in such a public environment. Some of it sickened him, and he was almost tempted to snatch up some of the women he passed by, but before he could even finish considering making a move, most were either chased away or scarfed down.

She had hoped the gesture would mean something to such a big creature, in fact she was worried that he wouldn't feel it at all with her hand being so tiny. But then she felt the faint shudder and smiled sheepishly, pulling her hand back and going still. But yes she was trying to reassure him, he kept apologising for these things he had no control over so she felt the need to try and make him feel better, even if he was about to eat her. He announced soon that he was going to swallow, making her tense just a little, but otherwise stayed still as he tilted his head back. The fact that where's she's going won't have light was kind of freaky for her, but she imagined he'd have a big stomach since he was so big on the outside. She'd be pleasantly surprised.
She did squeak a little once he swallowed, but she stayed quite still as she slid down. Lilly felt soaked in saliva, but she was mostly sure it was harmless. The noise was a little nerve wracking and it was fairly tight in his throat, but she guessed it had to be so food wasn't just dropping into his belly. Or small humans that hopefully wasn't food for that matter. Once she was squeezed into his stomach she curled up from instinct, surprised at how enclosed and snug it was as his tummy gave her a wet, squishy hug. The sounds gladly reminded her of where she was, but the muffled heartbeat above her did make her smile. She had to admit for a stomach it was quite cozy. It was warm, gentle, rather cuddly and eager to message her little body. Even the sounds were not that unpleasant. It wasn't as scary and frightening as she had feared. It was probably a little unusual, but she found herself relaxing fully in his belly, not daring to move too much of course, but her fear was slowly being tapped away with every gentle gurgle, churn, hug and knead that his soft belly gave her. Lilly heard and indeed felt his sigh of relief, making her smile shyly again with a still slightly shaky murmur of content.
She didn't know he changed back, since nothing changed in her soft, squishy surroundings. But she heard him say that no one could hurt her now and it left a warm, fuzzy feeling inside, similar to what she felt before but stronger. She was then given permission to move and get comfortable, but to be careful. Sensitive? Was he ticklish she wondered? Well the outside of bellies were on most, so she guessed it seemed normal that the insides would be even more ticklish if one could feel it. "O-okay, I will be careful.... Thank y-you Nathan. " She told him sweetly, before slowly shifting inside of his cuddly stomach to get comfortable, still a cute little human ball in which his belly was happy to close up around to cuddle. At least that's what she was calling it in her head now, a cuddle. As Nathan promised to take her somewhere safe, Lilly giggled, shyly but still. "You already did silly, you said it yourself no one can hurt me here. " The young girl reminded him sweetly, seeming to sound pretty calm. There was that natural fear of being in a stomach, but other then that she sounded happy as she ever so gently snuggled into his squishy belly walls, murmuring again with content. Lilly trusted him at this point with her life so she saw no reason not to be happy.

Nathan smiled and gave his tummy a gentle rub, which Lilly could probably feel from the inside to a degree. "I suppose you're right, huh? Well, in any case, I doubt you'll want to stay in there forever, and I... do require proper food eventually... so I'd like to let you out somewhere there aren't swarms of hungry monsters just waiting for a chance to gobble down such a sweet young lady," he replied as he continued to make his way outside the convention. Though, he would certainly relish the feeling of having someone inside again after so long, especially someone who wasn't struggling and causing him nausea. Every movement she made caused him to feel all fluttery and warm, he wished he could take a moment to enjoy it properly, but right now he had to focus on getting back to his hotel room without looking strange. Lilly seemed to be taking it well at least, so maybe he'd get a chance for some proper belly snuggles later...
Though his belly was content to be full, it still acted as though it had a piece of food inside it, continuing to gently knead at and lightly squeeze the little human within, albeit harmlessly. By now his belly would be filling up with corrosive juices and enzymes, but lucky for Lilly, this demon was able to create pseudo-stomachs for when the need arises, something even Nathan was glad he could take advantage of on multiple occasions. So instead of having to suffer the effects of digestion, Lilly could continue to relax in peace.
"Actually, that reminds me, should I pick up something for you to eat on my way out? For when you're back outside and cleaned off I mean," he asked.

Lilly blushed softly as she did indeed feel his gentle rubbing a little, assuming it was his hand, wait hand? It was then she realized maybe he was in his human form again, though she was surprised nothing in his insides changed far as she could tell. He was right of course, she didn't wish to stay forever, she had only meant he didn't need to hurry or stress over it. "Of course not forever! I just don't want you all worrying over me so soon when you don't need to. B-but yes, do let me out somewhere less scary...." She explained as she kept as still in his tummy as she could. It was hard not to just snuggle amd cuddle the squishy walls around her. Though when he mentioned the other predators she was reminded that she was rather lucky to have such a sweet and gentle pairing and that most of the others didn't get such a warm and cozy fate. It was a sad thought to her really. Of course the small snuggly lady would probably be interested in his idea of a proper belly snuggle, for she seemed quite interested in enjoying the softness of his innards.
Lilly had trusted him fully at this point and worried not of the gentle squeezes and kneads the belly gave her. So she didn't expect any harmful substances to come in either. And if they did she was sure he'd cough her up once she told him. Lilly still had the image of his true form in the back of her mind and it did still unnerve her, but it also made her wonder how such a frightening, heartless looking creature have such a big heart?
"Oh yes please, I would like something to eat, you probably would too right? " She asked him while she gave a wall a very careful snuggle.

Nathan smiled and let his free hand drop back down to his side once he exited the convention center. "Alright, is there anything you're in the mood for? Anything at all, my treat," he offered as he began to make his way back to the hotel. "I could even make you something by hand, if you'd like. I love to cook for others, in all honesty, and it's the least I could do to make up for you getting stuck in this situation." It wasn't his fault, but he still felt bad for it regardless, and he had decided that if there was anything he could do to help make her day better, especially after having to swallowing her whole and drench her clothes in his saliva, he'd do it.
"And, heh, yes... I've got my own food back at my place though, so you don't have to worry about it." He would smile at her reassuringly if he could, so instead he just gave his belly another gentle rub.

(I am so sorry for making you wait days! I had some family issues to take care of and it sapped all my online time away. )
Lilly could tell he was walking this whole time and she could onky guess from ho long he was walking that they were outside the convention, which was a little exciting. When he mentioned cooking himself she gasped softly, she always did love homemade meals, but... It seemed like a lot to ask, for him to make her a meal when they have only known each other for a few hours. But he also did say he loved to cook. "Oh Nathan, this isn't your fault, I came to the convention on my own and I count myself lucky that I had your number.... Or you had mine, however that works. But if you really like cooking and feel up to it, I would be happy with that. " She replied caringly to him, giggling softly when he rubbed his belly again. The small human couldn't help but lean into it and give a careful snuggle back. "Good, but I can pay you back for the supplies if you want. "

((No worries! I had a feeling someone was up, I hope everything's okay tho 0:> ))
Nathan's cheeks lit up a bit with blush once more as he felt Lilly lean into the belly rub. Though she was literally in his stomach at the moment, it really seemed like she was about to worm her way into his heart at any given moment now. Figuratively, of course. "It wouldn't be any trouble, I promise" he gently assured her once more. It actually made things a little easier on him since he was staying at a hotel not too far away, so it wouldn't take much longer for them to arrive. "That being said, do you have any food allergies or intolerances I should be aware of?" he asked. "Or anything you're particularly unfond of?"
