Just aside from the convention floor was the building's bar - those sitting at the stools could look over the open area as they got drinks or snacks, and the volunteer bartender had a good view of the proceedings and the guests as he idly prepared - the bar ran on two sides, and was only accessible from the building's kitchens. Ormen ran a hand through his hair and loosened his shirt a little, yawning as he went to the chalkboard and began to note down drink prices - ending the list with an announcement "Ladies get half off drinks and snacks - and first purchase on the house".
Satisfied, he patted his shirt pocket, and the card with the number in it, which he'd earned in exchange for volunteering here until the main event, when the regular staff would take over - not that one could tell at first glance that he wasn't regular staff.

Artemis headed up to the bar. Walking through the convention had given her quite the thirst. She sidled up to the counter her "props" gleaming. "Do you have anything nonalcoholic? I don't want to get too fuzzy if you don't mind."

Orestis decided to have a drink. He headed towards the bar, spotting a tasty-looking girl next to the counter, ordering her drink. He slowly approached her, his wolf mask still on. "Hey there." he said in a voice slightly muffled by his mask

Artemis glanced back, and forced her hand away from the hilt of her sword. "Hello. I suppose you're enjoying the convention?" She asked as she waited on the bartender to get her drink. She wasn't quite if he was an actual monster, but she couldn't be certain until the main event happened.

Ormen gave a wide, practiced smile towards Artemis, and a curt nod towards whoever was in the wolf mask, focusing his attention on the girl.
"Of course, my dear..." he said smoothly. "We have anything you could want. Are you more partial to soda? We have plenty of juices as well, and some virgin beverages. Take your pick. I would recommend you try at least one of our drinks though - the first is free for you, and one could hardly hurt, now could it?"

"Well I'd prefer gatorade or powerade." She muttered. "Besides I've been to too many conventions to get drunk at one." She smirked and blinked her eyes in an attempt to be flirty. "If not I'll have a half iced tea half lemonade."

"Excuse me. I'll have a soda." Orestis said, hoping to get the bartender's attention. He couldn't really blame him for focusing on the girl. The two were probably thinking of the same thing. His head then turned to Artemis. "Indeed, I am. My name is Orestis and it's my first time on such a gathering. Would you be kind enough to give me yours?" He said while removing his mask.

"One Arnie Palmer coming up for the lovely young lady," chuckled Ormen, holding up a finger as he turned to prepare one, handing the ice tea and lemonade over to Artemis, glancing at Orestis. "Got a favourite soda?" he asked quickly.

"You can call me Artemis." She replied as she accepted her beverage. "So this is your first time hm? I guess I can't ask you about this mysterious grand finale I keep hearing about then. Seems like it'd be quite something." She took a sip nonchalantly as she glance at the wolf boy.

Shura's gaze stopped at the bar as she passed by. Conventions weren't even really her thing, and yet she'd found herself here for some reason or another. Perhaps it was simply out of boredom, or maybe she was curious to see just what kind of convention could be hosted by "monsters" anyway. Regardless, since nothing else was getting her attention at the moment, she figured settling for a drink in the meantime wouldn't hurt.
She strode over and seated herself apart from the two others who were already there. Not to be unsociable, just out of habit.
"Anything with alcohol, please."

Orestis glanced at the bartender. "Any would do, buddy." He said in a serious tone, before looking at the human girl. "I am quite as puzzled about this as you are, Artemis. The organisers are keeping it a secret for some reason. Maybe they plan on surprising us somehow." He said with a gentle smile. Of course, he was lying. But he wasn't about to reveal the whole hunt.

"Ah, you honour me, letting me get creative," said Ormen with a grin, passing a coke over to Orestis, as he started to mix something together with plenty of fruit and rum. "And who might you be?" he asked Shura, handing her the drink. "Sorry if I'm being intrusive, I just find this rather interesting - my first time catering this convention."

"They must be." Artemis replied with an airy smile back at him. "Must really be excited. I'm really looking forward to it." Her mouth slightly twitched becoming a smirk for a fraction of a second. It was a partial truth, though she was also dreading it. Only the thought of the upcoming battle kept her from freaking out.
"On second thought Bartender? I'd like a shot of whiskey please." She took a drink of her Arnold Palmer before turning back to the wolf boy. "What about you? Are you looking forward to the big finish?"

"Shura," she answered with a nod of thanks, drawing the beverage towards herself. "I'm nobody, really," she continued with a self-deprecating smile, "but this seemed like a neat place to pass the time. Never expected there would be something like this for, well-" She paused, searching for the right wording. "'Non-humans', I guess."
She wasn't going to lie to herself - it was a strange idea for a convention. But apparently that was just another niche some people had, so she figured while she was here she'd humor them.

Orestis winked at the bartender and lifter his drink, taking a sip. His eyes caught her smirking, but trying to hide it. He wasn't sure why, but he didn't question it yet. Still, he would watch out for her whereabouts during the hunt. " I sure am! I really look forward to an exciting event. I just hope there's at least some action, whatever the case may be."
He then turned to Shura, overhearing her. "We non-humans aren't so bad, are we?" He asked in a loud voice and laughed
