Ok. Trinkets all on the left side, Brochures across the front. Random outdoorsy photographs across the back and unique plants on the right. Everything is where it should be.
Nathan grinned, satisfied at his set up. Currently he was in his Human Default form, wearing jeans, a t-shirt bearing the logo of his adventure guide business. On his feet he wore hiking boots and on his head he wore a bucket hat, also bearing his logo. He was planning on winning the costume contest but he didn't want to tip his hand this early. Besides the outdoorsy look always helped draw in customers looking for adventurous vacations. Hell even in his shop he'd have to throw on an Aussie accent to get a sale. Of course then he had the ability to duck to the back of his shop and rearrange his face first. So today he would have to just go hard on the outdoor attire. It didn't matter it was comfortable anyways.

Chloe honestly wasn't much on the various anime and video game booths she walked by. The comics, the artwork, they didn't appeal to her so much as the guys in costume. There was just something fun about dude dressed as beasts that got her more nature-loving side going. Still, as she walked through the rooms of the con, she didn't see much that caught her eye till she came upon a booth advertising adventure. Walking up to it, she saw the guy behind it looked normal enough. No costume, athletic build, outdoorsy type. Her type. She checked out the photos and said with a bit of a Southern drawl, "What sort of adventures do you take folks on? Mountain climbing? Cave diving?"

"Yep as well as kayaking, hiking, whitewater rafting, You name it we probably have it. Though hiking and fishing tend to be the most popular packages we offer." Nathan smiled charmingly at his first customer of the day.
"The photos along the wall are taken along most of the routes we use, and everything is lined out in the brochures for each. Though feel free to ask me anything. I could probably suggest one of our packages if I know what your interested in particular." He winked at her and began watering his plants to give her a chance to look over what he had to offer.

Chloe nodded, taking up some of the brochure's to look through. She saw pictures of various climates and places. Deserts, forests, snowy hills, foggy hills, marshes, rivers. The thought of exploring these various places, of seeing the strange wildlife there excited her.
"This all sounds sure fun," she said. "Ya ever run into any interesting animals? I'd love to see a bear. Never found one in my woods. Or salmon running up stream. Elk. Moose. They're like fantasy creatures." She looked at the photos as if hoping to catch a glimpse of such odd beasts.

"Every so often." Nathan replied, grabbing a few brochures that featured wildlife watching as a feature and handing them to her. "So what's your name miss?"

Chloe took the brochures, looking through them a bit before realizing she hadn't answered. "Oh. Chloe. Sorry. Do you personally host the tours, Mr...?" She looked the man over, ostensibly for a nametag but also because... he wasn't bad looking! That dark hair and those green eyes were fetching. He was also taller than Chloe, a quality she enjoyed, being a bit tall herself. While he question was innocent enough, she was fully ready to admit that a weekend away with a guy like this in the woods would not be a bad thing.

Nathan grinned. "Yes indeed. I don't really have the income to hire employees. Hence why I get to sit at this charming convention."
He turned his attention back to the brochures. "So since you're more focused on viewing wildlife,I'd suggest either a hiking or boat tour. Which would you'd prefer?"

Chloe's attention was invested now. She leaned forward, considering. "Well, I hike all the time. I've probably walked more miles than your car. How about boating? Maybe swim with some sharks or dolphins or see a coral reef. Might bag a handsome merman while I'm down there." She flipped through the brochure, looking at the different aquatic pictures.

Nathan chuckled. "Well the diving adventures are tougher to book because I have to rent the diving boat. Plus I make it a point to not take people scuba diving unless they have a license first. It saves on insurance. So they tend to be more expensive."
"I'd suggest fishing or kayaking."

Chloe was clearly disappointed, but she didn't argue. The guy was just putting the information out there. He'd not promised her sharks and dolphins after all. "I suppose kayaking during salmon season, or fishing off the coast could be fun. What sort of fishing trips do you offer?"

"A few lake trips and a few oceanic trips. There's fly fishing as well, but that tends to be lumped into either one of the hiking packages or the kayaking/ whitewater rafting trips. Now if you're looking to catch a oceanic sportfish, then it tends to be a bit more costly, because once again I need a heavier duty boat than I actually own. There are also tours where we raft or kayak down to a lake and fish there for trout, bass or pike, or packages where we just drive up to the lake for a day of fishing."
Nathan grabbed brochures for each of the packages described and made sure they were available to the girl."I'm Nathan Walker by the way. Sorry I was so busy with the sales pitch I just about forgot to introduce myself."

Chloe looked at each brochure, each full of pictures of folks on rafts or kayaks or fishing boats. Some were families, some singles, all looked like they were having a moment of pure delight. Of course, she knew the photos were staged, intended to sell her. But she thought how exciting it would be out there on the wild river or the rolling sea.
"Nice to meet you Nathan. You seem to know your stuff." She grinned. "Guess you've never encountered anything on your tours like we see around here, huh?" She gestured behind her, at the guys in lizard costumes, furry costumes, fishy costumes, and what-the-heck costumes. "Now that would be a fun adventure to go on."

Nathan chuckled. "Well there is a rumor about a lake monster a while north of here and sometimes I take people looking for it. No one's actually encountered it on the trip though. But a lot of people have taken some pretty big fish out of that lake. A couple were practically record breakers. That's the closest I can really offer." Aside from tonight He thought to himself with a slight smile. "And it's always a pleasure meeting someone as passionate about the outdoors as yourself."

Chloe smirked at the mention of a lake monster. She had no doubt some people really did believe in that sort of thing. But though she joked about it, and though she liked the idea of guy pretending to be a dragon or centaur or whatever (and having an animal sensuality to back it up), she didn't expect to ever see such things. Still, she said, "Well that might be a good place to start. About time I catch something that isn't all fur. When's your next trip?"

"Depends. That trip can either be just a day on the lake or a river trip along with the lake tour." He pulled out his calendar. "I can do a deluxe trip in two weeks, and a normal day at the lake next Saturday." He replied. "It's better if you have your own gear but we do have some available for rental but they're all at the shop."
He didn't mention how some of the rental gear came from previous customers, but she didn't need to know that. Especially since she would probably be going on a different adventure once the main event began.
